Little house

Easy and fast comunication, lovely place for stying in Kaunas.

It's a lovely, tiny house. Decorated with fairy lights both outside and inside, nice feeling on a dark autumn's evening. We liked the location, out of the city centre, next to a beautiful park. We stayed on Saturday night and it was very peaceful and quiet. The communication with the host was very pleasant and prompt. We arrived late, so it was very nice that the beds were made and the heating was on.

For us there were only two minor downsides. One, there is a door missing that seperates the two rooms. It's okay if you are travelling alone or as a couple, but for us as a family, it was a little uncomfortable. Two, there are only 2 mugs, 3 plates, and 2 glasses in the kitchen. Would be nice to have a set of 4 of everything.

We stayed in a pretty cozy house and had a splendid time there, thanks!

The Little house isn't small and have everything what needed for a short or a longer stay. Good Internet, perfect location, kind host and calm neighborhood.

The building itself and its immediate surroundings don‘t look like much, but the apartment is actually quite nice inside, and you are just a few minutes‘ walk from downtown Kaunas. Good value.

The bed is comfortable but pretty squeaky.

The house is located in a very nice neighborhood. It is equipped with everything you need for a short stay. During the night it was very calm and dark. It was not hot inside, despite the fact that there is no air conditioner. I liked the atmosphere and design inside, it looks like the owner puts a lot of effort in this property.

Unfortunately there were a few things, that made my stay there unpleasant. First, and most important: the location is not the same, that is shown on the map. While it is actually close, you'll need to climb up the hill quite significantly. I had to take taxi just to get there with a suitcase. Second, there is a construction site nearby, they woke me up at 8. Wooden doors and windows of the house are old and don't provide any soundproofing. There is also some kind of drainage or sewer pipe just near the door. So there was constant noise of running water and unpleasant stale smell. And since there are no mosquito nets on the windows, there are many insects inside. Notably mosquitoes and spiders. Spiderwebs were in every dark corner. Also it should be nice to have a full-size mirror near the door. But this is just a small thing, comapring to other problems.

Somebody was near destination waitet to give advice to find and get acess. kitchen equipment was good.

Information via Email did not work. Noisy in the late evening and in the early morning because of traffic and building site. some draine noise.

We loved the feel of the room, the art and decor were lovely and inviting. As we've arrived late, the self check-in was very convenient and easy. We parked close by without a problem. The hosts were lovely and communicative, spoke great English and after booking, sent a very upfront welcome message with all the necessary information. The space was clean and cozy, there were pods on the coffee machine and tea in the cupboard, everything was just very well thought out. We woke up well-rested and had a great stay in Kaunas.

Google maps had a little bit of trouble finding the localisation of the Little House, even with a pin sent by the host, which is by no means the owners' fault — just something to keep in mind.
