The property is located in the original, old town section. Very quaint, narrow cobblestone streets and every building is identical, red brick. An unusial sight.

The lack of communication. The main street into the old town is under construction and closed on one end. The owner could have very eaisly made us aware of this and offer alternative directions. As it happens, one must travel out of town and across the river to get to the other side of the town (per Google maps). There probably was an easier way, but we were unable to find it. With the main street being closed and most of the streets in old town, one way, it was quite the challenge to find and get to the apartment. Then there was the key retrival. I am from Germany, so I speak, read and understand German. The directions to find the key were severly lacking. Fortunatley, a passerby was able to explain that the gates on either side of the unit led to the back of the neighorbing buildings. The gate to the back of this apartment was around the corner and halfway down the block. Inside the unit. It is complety remodled and updated. Light switches and outlets were oddly located behind doors, frighteningly over the bathtub and dangerously behind the dining room table. The only way to plug in the television was to run the cord across the dining room table to the far side of the room. The unit was quite cool with a wood buring stove. There were no instructions on how to operate the wood stove. The wood avaible appeared to be construction leftovers. We were hesitant to use any of it as there was no way to tell if it was just wood cutting remants or removed with finishing chemicals painted on. It was better to bundle up.

Nice, clean, spacious apartment in the center of Mölln which is a beautiful town.

It is in an old building but it is renovated perfectly. The garden is a bit chaotic. It was a bit cold.
