Chiado riverside modern stylish apt

The room was really nice. Location, facilities, cleanness, it has almost everything what I needed. While it is next to the Pink Street, the entrance is far from the street and away from the noises.

Two critical issues with interactions. Payment issue with the deposit payment was really UNACCEPTABLE. Although the confirmation page says it is charged 7 days before the arrival, it was in the morning of the arrival day that I received the message that the credit card didn't work, probably due to the increasing security measures by the card. It took hours until the alternative payment was confirmed and the check-in details were provided. It is very difficult to search and communicate the alternative in the unfamiliar environment with poor network connection and it cause more than 2-hour delay of check-in. It caused not only the cancellation of a planned activity in the night but also, more importantly, I felt really unsafe and uncomfortable in the unfamiliar environment. Next, the address on the Booking.com matches with the map provided by the owner, but it is NOT the address that the apartment actually exists. The owner told me that they didn't understand why people were going to different place. Unbelievable, they must know it.

It is very central, easy access to the metro and trams etc. Maria was waiting us at the property despite our plane being delayed and was very helpful, giving us lots of tips for our stay in Lisbon! The flat was clean and the bed was very comfortable, and it was nice to have aircon and a washing machine/dryer. It is very close to Pink Street but we heard no noise at all through the windows. The building and apartment felt very secure. We would definitely return!
