Being in lovely Alfama with the life that happens there. Convenient to the metro stations. Wide choice of restaurants

The location was excellent with everything in Alfama was within walking distance! Their were some great restaurants nearby. The accommodations were clean and easy to access.

The accommodations are dark, there is not a lot of natural light. The shower curtain configuration in the bath tub needs to be improved. It was dragging in the tub and the supports did not look very strong.

The location was lovely and the apartment was spacious. The area felt safe. Public transport was close. Lots of both good & bad quality overpriced fado restaurants (beware) within walking distance and a nice gelato shop nearby.

The bed and the sofa bed were the worst we have ever slept on, hard, thin, poor quality mattresses. The shower curtain hung too low in the bath & was mouldy. Not enough toilet paper provided. It would have been nice if 3 or 4 tablets for the dishwasher/washing machine had been provided as we didn't want to buy a box of 40 for a 1 week stay (seemed a bit mean).

We arrived very late after delays to our flight. Joao met us outside and showed us in and around to apartment. We had everything we needed, the apartment was great. Yes there are things that could improve the property, but we were very happy with the place. Sleeping arrangements were good too, with a double bed and two sofa beds in the living room. The windows open to the rear of the building, so not much of a view, but that in turn meant that the room never overheated, and there wasn't any issues with noise at night. The location was ideal, especially for exploring the fabulous Alfama area. Close to Trams, and buses, we also used Uber taxi's as they were so cheap. Restaurants and shops are in high supply, and I'd recommend reading through the information booklet. From the kitchen you can see the towers of the Sao Vincente church - make sure you visit, it's fab!

Not much to dislike!

Excellent location close to old town. No seaview but very quiet inner courtyard with good shade from sunlight. Interesting room layout, plenty of room.

A bit worn furniture and other equipment, need a bit upgrade.

Excellent location, close to the cruise port, and easy access to the old city. The communication both before arrival and on arrival was excellent. Very well laid apartment, and tastefully decorated.

Some of the appliances and fixtures could use some upgrading.
