Farmácia Vila Lobos Apartment

It was really easy to check in and check out, without waiting or going somewhere to collect the key. Apartment was clean and it has mostly everything you'll need (plates and cups, pan and pots, hairdryer, shower gel, soap, washing liquid, salt and pepper). The area is nice and street is mostly quite at night time which was important because we knew there's only one window in the apartment. There was enough of hot water, good WiFi and of course the TV was great for children.

It can be a problem having one window, especially during hot weather. There is an air conditioner but it's noisy and we couldn't use it during the night time. Fan in the room was helpful but you need to open the room door as well to have some fresh/cold air. And the apartment isn't big, especially the room with the double bed. Be ready to fit into 20 cm between the bed and a wall every time going to the bathroom.

Everything was great. Easy and quick communication with the owner. Location of the apartment was good and close to the train station and the centre of the city. Apartment was clean and beautiful.

Property manager was easy and fast to respond

At least 30 roaches we saw or killed during the duration of our stay. it’s infested with bugs. We did not cook or leave food or anything out and have stayed at 4 other properties in Portugal. This was by far the worst one. The property manager send his housekeeper when we informed them of the roaches but the apt needs an exterminator! Absolutely unacceptable and uncomfortable stay. Also, it is a very far walk to the city center. At least 25 min on very hilly and cobblestone streets. It’s is not close to the center of town and we had to take a bolt or Uber many times.

The location was perfect

The apartment was infested with tiny ants . The ants only bothered us because you could not have food stored in the apartment.
