Spacious, Bright and Newly Renovated 2 Bedroom Apartment, Lisbon Historical Center, Madragoa

Charles the owner was extremely helpful and pleasant and enhanced our stay in lovely Lisbon

First of all, the apartment is really cool. It's large, spacious and bright (just like the title says :)). There's a lot of space to accommodate multiple guests, with enough privacy for everyone. The apartment is clean and has an authentic style. Second, the location - it's perfect. Not directly in the crowded center, but very close (we walked every day). Close to the transportation hub as well. There's a huge variety of the restaurants even on the quiet street where the apartment is located, but also just in 5 minutes walk there's a hidden street with a ton of places. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This is not specific to the apartment, but the common "feature" of Lisbon - there's no central heating, so plan for it accordingly and you'll have to use the heaters (the heaters are provided for every room at the apartment).

Location was off beaten path of Lisboa Center, which we liked. Great places to eat on the street- Flora & Fauna for lighter fare and for Dinner the restaurant "Taberna" under our apartment was awesome! Theres a Puppet Museum right up the street- unfortunately we didn't know until we were leaving. Liked the large layout of the apartment. Full Kitchen- but were weren't there long enough to use it.

TV was difficult to work- no instructions- if lots of luggage- all the stairs can be a challenge- we need to pack lighter!

the view and location were magnificent. Very tasteful with the updates.

it gets very hot, and I would suggest a portable AC Unit.

it would be very uncomfortable in the night of summer with no aircon. good fans provided though.

The location is amazing, cool neighbourhood with cool restaurants nearby. Rooms were big and confortable. There's enough space to sleep up to 6 people.

There's no elevator, although this is typical in the neigbourhood it can be unconvenient. There's just one bathroom. Although the house was clean, we found a cockroach in one of the rooms. It was quite unpleasant. We assume it was cause of the nearby renovations.
