1BR Condo in Soltana Nature Residences Mactan, Cebu, near beaches and resorts

The location not far from Gaisano Mall is ok for Mactan Island but not perfect for going to Cebu every day. Though there are already some construction works are going on now it is still recognizable that in general a good standard of material and equipment had been used to construct the building. The host pointed correctly in the booking confimation that the pool will be closed untill the end of November 2022 (what some people might not recognize on the booling.com website). The condo was very clean and it has a well eqipped bright kitchen with an induction cooking plate. In the bathroom the shower is devided by a partition wall so that you don't have a full wet flor and there was even a rope where some light weight clothes could be dried. The livingroom area is equipped with an older Hisense smart TV with a soundbar and Netflix (just a pitty that it has been useless as there was no internet at all offered in the condo during my stay at any time). The self check in and out was quick, easy and comfortable. But be aware that the guards will still require ID and proove of covid vaccination or actual test of any guest or visitor.

A WIFI network connection to a Globe prepaid Router (connected with a 3 bars signal to Globe but not to the internet) could easily established from all devices but logically no internet connection. The host had been informet about the problem directly after check in and a screenshots showing the details of the internet conncetivity problems and pictures showing all the details of a 3 stepp self test of the internet connection on Netflix, prooving that network connection/DHCP were working well but no internet provided, had been sent over with the friendly request for help. In return I only received questions like if I turned on the router or if I mooved the router (what has been aburd against the background of the detailed documentation I sent allredy). After always replying politely again and explaining all the details one more time, there was no reply anymore and no solution during the whole time of my stay there. In the year 2022 it is an absolute no-go to rent out a comparatively high priced condo with the obtion of Netflix streaming without the offered internet connection that you will nowadays receive even in the dormitary of the cheepest backpacker hostel. Reviews of other guests indicated problems with the internet connection and the information of the host already. Though the host has been offering the condo with internet again but not providing any internet at all this time, while Smart and Globe signals at the condo are good enough for a quick and reliable Internet connection (if it is paid...). This is the reason for the most deduction in my rating. Beside that it is to mention that it is quite uncomfortable to sit on the sofa in the living room area, - and not easy to cool down the kitchen/living area a little bit quickly with the small and only aircon available in the bedroom.

Quiet area. Big pool, nice pillows, well appointed kitchen.

Internet and couch...

All the employees were kind and nice. also the location is not far from the Grand mall and the airport. the pool was amazing but it’s sad that it closes pretty early.
