Aqua-Heights Apartment

Nice view from steep hilltop location.

Unfortunately we felt this property was not as described ie it was an open plan apartment with no separate bedroom. Double bed was in kitchen area with second desk bed in a very cramped windowless area. Parking was almost impossible as there was a camper van already parked on drive with an extremely narrow entrance to driveway. Also access to apartment was down a narrow flight of steps which made it impossible for us to carry our large suitcases down. Property probably not suitable for overseas travellers with a lot of luggage. Overall this property, although it had a nice view, did not meet our requirements. Also we stayed in numerous other Booking.Com properties during our NZ holiday but this was the only property that had numerous rules attached which only became apparent via numerous emails/questions for information about us from letting agent immediately after booking the property.

It was super clean and tidy. Great views.

There was no light on when I turned up to get the keys from the lockbox. Had my phone light so that helped.

fantastic views from spacious apartment, separate space to store suitcases

Not enough space to sit down on the toilet without banging knees against the towel rail. Bed was too soft with a soft topper pad that moved as it was not attached to mattress.
