Lovely stay at Hortus Lake Orta! The flat was clean, charming, and well equipped. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the short, scenic walk (10–15 min) along the lake to the center of Omegna. The host was very responsive and gave a warm, personal welcome. I felt right at home and will definitely return!

"Wenn man bereit ist auf einigen Komfort zu verzichten, ist diese Unterkunft gut geeignet um ein paar schöne Tage am Orta"

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist hervorragend. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, 5 Minuten zum Markt. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit. Sie haben ein Babybett zur Verfügung gestellt und wenn etwas kaputt war oder gefehlt hat, haben sie direkt für Ersatz gesorgt.

Die Erdgeschosswohnung ist sehr minimalistisch. Die Ausstattung ist okay, es gibt vom Nötigsten das Nötigste. Auf Komfort muss man leider verzichten. Die Stühle sind beim Schieben laut und unbequem. Das Bett ist relativ kurz und die Matratze ist durchgelegen. Es ist nicht dreckig, jedoch auch nicht sehr sauber, was uns beim Besuch mit krabbelndem Baby schon ganz gut gefallen hätte.

Nice location, clean and spacious apartment. No air conditioning but it wasn't too bad - I had to keep the shades closed during the day (when I wasn't there anyway so it didn't matter) to make sure the apartment was cool enough to sleep comfortably. I didn't use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped and the washing machine and iron+ironing board came in handy. The lake is a few minutes walk away, there was a market there in the morning when I went to explore the area. The host, Silvia, was very helpful, kind and made sure I knew how to get in (I arrived late at night). All in all a very good experience, I would happily stay here again.

Air conditioning would be nice in the hot summer, but it's not a deal breaker.
