Appartamento Umberto I

The location was very good.

This apartment is very tired and needs a refurbish. There was mould in the bathroom and on the shower curtain. The ceiling fan was annoyingly loud and ineffective. The air conditioning was a portable plug in variety in the bedroom so noisy you could not leave it on and it wasn’t very cooling. The fan supplied needed filters cleaning or replaced. The bed is definitely not suitable for 2 people. Pillows were cheap. A lot of the furnishings etc seemed to be out of IKEA and past their use by date. The owner of this property should take more pride in what they are offering as a rental. We spent a week in this apartment which was a week to long.

The location is central and walking distance to most places of interest. The excitement of a university town is invigorating. They were very kind to call a taxi to get us to the train station when we left Padova.

There is automatic checkin that went well. We requested and were told we would have help getting our luggage up 2 flights of stairs, but no one came to help us. We had some confusion about where to find an extra blanket and found it for the second night. There was not enough shampoo for 2 people with long hair.

- Location was perfect, 20 mins walk from trainstation, 10 mins from main attractions, nice bars and restaurants next door - Communication with hosts was good, quick respond and very helpful - Large windows and balcony is great, although the balcony is not maintained properly

- Bed is small and the mattress uncomfortable - Bed too large for the room: difficult to walk around - There were coffee (?) stains all around the kitchen, living room and entrance - Mould in the shower

Location and clean

Amazing location, literally in the centre of the centre! Great little flat with separate bedroom. Amazing staff. Great value for money.

the location is great. also: it has 2 rooms.

they want you to registratr and upload your papers before you get here. which entails filling out a form and scanning your personal documents. they claim, they cant do it themselves, because of privacy reasons, but you‘re supposed to send it to them over the internet. they just want you to do the work, they should. then you have to pick up the key at the other end of town in a rather scary area. when we arrived, the apartment wasnt clean, the shower is broken. also: the bed is really small. during the day the neighbours dog was barkkng all day long. luckily you couldnt vere it kn the bedroom, only in hhe rest of the appartment. the day we left, the cleaner arrived 10 minutes before 10. this is just all calculated for maximal profit without regard for the comfort of guests. take another appartment.

A wonderful location, good kitchen and bathroom, comfortable couch.

The bed took up so much room that it was difficult to get to the other side. It was difficult to find the location of the reception desk, which was nowhere near the apartment.

This place has an excellent location. The apartment is well equipped, has a nice balcony (Romeo & Juliet style) facing the main road. It is well lit and aired. The bathroom has a good size. Monica wo met me at the apartment to get the keys was very nice.

You need to collect the keys in a remote office, or get it in the apartment for a significant extra fee (that varies with the time of your arrival. I paid 15 euro). Being on a main pedestrian road means noise - at night it was very reasonable. You need to be especially keen on waking up at 5.30-6.00 to the sound of trucks unloading products to the supermarket across from the apartment or the noise of other activities saved for this early hour. The windows are not sound proof. This is definitely the downside of the location. The bedroom is very very small. it's difficult to move around even for one person.
