The apartment has the necessary equipment and is well located in the historic center of Pienza

The apartment has a difficult accessibility, particularly with luggage, because: 1. It is located at 2nd floor with sharp and narrow stairs. 2. It is impossible to park close to the building. Additionally, the person who received us for check-in did not know one word in English or any language but Italian. Cleanliness was also unsufficient in the kitchen.

Inside historical centre. Clean and tidy

Car street parking is not close nor easy to find.

Pienza - very easy checking. The accommodation is located right in a very pretty side street right in the centre of the old town. Paid parking is located about 250 meters from the accommodation. There is free parking spaces next to the paid parking or in residential streets outside the ZTL further away. Accommodation has all the basics with open plan kitchen living room with separate bathroom and living room.

Kitchen and bathroom looks a bit used. Kitchen surfaces had water and candle wax damage stains, cooking utensils not properly clean. Bathroom shower cubicle wasn’t particularly clean, shower screen covered in dried water marks and grout and sealant had some mould. Internet speed 2mb. We stayed in March, weather was cold and raining but accommodation was only heated twice a day for very short periods of time which we had no control over, so for the majority of time it was cold.

It was perfectly adequate

The owner speaks only Italian. You have to call him and he will come over and give you a key and then leave. Better avoid it if you are not Italian native.
