Fancy Downtown Lisbon Apartment by LovelyStay

Great location, it is on a 3 minutes walking to the metro line, and almost major bus lines go through there. Lots of tram lines, including 28. Heads up to those with suitcases on rollers, the location is close to the blue metro line, and the walking route to there is with the least stone pavement, which is an important benefit for this location. Believe me, rollers are useless on those kinds of pavement, which is all around the old town, but are less on the route from the metro to this apartment. You have a good connection to the airport through metro line red and metro line blue, and with a single ticket, you can make the airport transfer for 30ish minutes. There are really good restaurants on the street of the building which are great for dinner at the end of the day when you are tired and then go to sleep or have another walk through the narrow old town streets for a cocktail with live fado singers. The restaurants are quiet, so no worries for those with sleep issues like me. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and is very well insulated. The bed is great, I have back issues and slept bery well from the first night. The kitchen has all the kitchenware that you would need, including nespresso pod coffee maker.

Great location, nice apartment, clean spacious.

The code for downstairs did not open the door consistently. Sometimes we would wait 5 minutes putting in the code till buzzer rang. Inconvenient especially late at night. Needs to be fixed

The location was great, with many restaurants close by. Easy access to the Metro. Surprisingly quiet apartment. Spacious. Comfortable bed. Nice kitchen. I really enjoyed being able to open the windows and having dinner over the street scene.

Locating the apartment was a bit of a challenge. Floor could have been cleaner. Two of the kitchen cabinet doors were askew (minor issue). I could not find extra garbage bags. I didn't initially receive the entry code via email and had to call to have it sent. I had tried to contact the management via email but did not get a response. Once I did get through the agent was very helpful and promptly sent me the code.

Location

Dirty shower stall and when shower turns on, the water leaks out the door and wet the whole dry area. There was only half a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, without any spares. When the rolls ran out, we asked via email and was told that it’s weekend and no one works on weekends. We had to buy our own toilet paper. But when asked if we could have a late check up, was told staff had to clean up and get ready for the next check in guests. What happened to no one works in weekend? Only one small bottle of body wash cum shampoo in the bathroom. And it was diluted with water. We had to ask for another. Nespresso machine without any coffee pods. All that was advertised wasn’t what it seems.

The pros: The apartment was spacious, clean, had a well equipped kitchen and was in a great location. It also had an elevator, which was helpful for getting luggage up and down.

The cons: Unfortunately the beds were really REALLY hard and uncomfortable. I’m not usually a complainer about mattresses but I woke up several times a night and in the morning I was stiff and sore. My friend ended up sleeping on the couch and found it better there. We were there for 5 nights and didn’t look forward to going to bed. It’s a relatively expensive place. Hopefully they can put in better mattresses.
