Casa Vicolo Saraceno

The host is very nice and friendly and came to meet us directly when we arrived in Forio. The location of the apartment was great - close to restaurants, shops and bus stops, and still in a very calm and quite area. The apartment itself very cute and it's a great size for two people. It was clean and well equipped with all the basics for the kitchen, and towels and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The bed is comfortable and there is a AC that will keep the upstairs area (the bedroom) cool in the summer and warm during winter :) The price was good and actually a lot cheaper than many other places in the same area (note that we were here in the low season, I don't know about the price for the rest of the year). We would definitely go there again!

There could have been a few more things in the kitchen, like a chopping board for example (there was some kind of wooden plate there but it has seen better days). It also get's a bit humid inside, especially in the bathroom after a shower, but I believe this is the case in most apartments in the area, at least in Naples where I've stayed for a few months. It was not a big problem for us.

A beautiful little apartment, perfect base for exploring the island. The owner was very kind and came to meet us and show us the location of the property. She brought us coffee too, thank you! The kitchen is ideal and the bathroom too. The bedroom is upstairs, very quaint and beautiful. Thank you so much for having us! Also, for other travellers who haven’t been before, it’s really straightforward to catch buses from Forio to Ischia Port.
