No sofa to sit on

We were two couples staying there for 3 nights. Ofcourse the first night we have arrived too late, around 00:00 and could get the keys for an extra charge of 30€ (because the normal check in was until 18:00). One of the rooms has a double bed but the other has 2 single beds; which we couldn’t see in the photos and had chosen the apartment because we thought it’s the only option which has two bedrooms with two double beds. Maria tried her best to answer my questions about the area and good places to see, although with a late reply, but it was useful sometimes. The location was calm and cozy and there was a cafeteria near the apartment in the corner which the staff were very kind and lovely!

The location was near the metro station but not near enough to the city center and city attractions. Extra charge could be canceled if they consider a box for keys with codes. We were in the 3rd floor and the building doesn’t have an elevator.

I had a great stay - Rui was a very friendly host, with lots of great tips for the area and Lisbon in general. Very handy location for necessities like metro and supermarkets. You can walk to the touristy bits if you want (about 30 mins) but lots of good value local restaurants nearby. The apartment is well kitted out, and newly refurbed - highly recommended.

Super good communication. The place was perfect for our team of 4. The kitchen has everything it needs to cook there (except from a dishwasher). Location is super nice with some amazing restaurants just around the corner. Supermarkets and bakery also very close. Airport was just 6€ with an Uber.

Location is definately a plus, not too far from main touristic places, close to metro station, but calm enough to have a good night sleep after a busy day. You will love this place if you want to enjoy a historical building and apartment where owner has put his heart in.

my objectives to find something away from the tourist trap was fully met. it was an amazingly authentic experience. The owners were absolutely adorable, available, timely and responsive

There are a few things that need to be made more explicit to the traveller in communications. Explain it’s up four flights of stairs with no lift. Fine for healthy fit people, but others may not have appreciated. A few items in terms of fixtures and furnishings were suggested to owners for improvement, and given this was a relatively new venture, they were extremely receptive and acted upon them. I have no doubt that it will get better and better.

The hosts were very kind, the location is good, the apartment is clean.

The mattress on the twin bed is bad
