The apartment is located in a nice and quiet part of the city in a local neighbourhood not too far from Alfama. It is clean and well maintained with all the necessary facilities working well. Marta’s also a very friendly and helpful host - be sure to get her recommendations on where to visit and dine.

While most of Lisbon is hilly, this particular apartment comes with a very steep walk up the hill from most of the main attractions so make sure this is something you’re comfortable to do at the end of the day.

Marta was a fantastic host and was there on time to greet us. We had already in January of 2024 so we were quite familiar with the set up. Ease of use and near what we like.

Steep stairs enabling you on savings for that gym membership. After this holiday you will feel toned up and discover muscles you thought you never had.

The apartment was listed under a "2 person, 2 room" search. It was even available for 3 people. It did have two rooms (bedroom and livingroom). But it only had one bed,so a bit misleading considering that booking.com is mainly a hotel bookint site. But I believe it is a flaw from booking.com and not the apartment itself. That meant we had to sleep in the same bed although we are not a couple. Not a big problem, but still not meeting the expectations.

The 3 flights of stairs helped us lose the extra pounds gained from the Christmas excess. There shall be light on the stairs if you press the illuminated button on the wall. Don’t annoy the neighbours by pressing their doorbell though! The shower temperature and pressure was good. However, a shower caddy would be useful to prevent playing football with the falling toiletries. It’s just as well I get on with my partner because we had to do everything together. If there are cracks in your relationship, insist upon a spare key! Joking aside, the flat is clean; kitchen is well stocked, decent washing machine/ dishwasher, lovely views and great Wi-Fi. Cozy apartment on the top of the building with a nice view. Self check-out, bus stop just a few meters away, easy cooperation with the host before check-in. I really can't say there's something more to wish for. It's not an option for those afraid of stairs, but the rest was perfect.
