The location is great, you can reach everything important (for eating, shopping, tourism, public transport) on foot. Maria was very nice and gave us many suggestions and helpful indications. Enough space for even three to four people and equipped with everything you need. Definitely a place to recommend!

At night and in the morning the appartment (both floors) are not entirely dark due to the lantern in front of the large windows and the light from above. But it is easy to solve with a sleeping mask.

The apartment is situated in a nice area, closeby to some of the touristic attractions. The owner were really nice and professional. We had some issues with Internet and they fixed them immediately. Also, they provided us with information of the city, places to visit and eat, etc. I would definetly recommend this apartment for your stay in Lisbon.

Great location to explore Lisbon and the surrounding towns, in the middle of the Alfama neighbourhood. The place has everything you need (including a Nespresso coffee maker which was my personal fave). The host is super nice and helpful, proposing things to do in Lisbon and beyond.

I couldn’t get the tv to work (but didn’t try too hard as the strong internet connection allowed to watch Netflix instead). :)

We couldn’t fault either the property or our host Maria, even though we never met her in person. The apartment is lovely and well appointed, and located in Lisbon’s bohemian Mouraria area, a perfect base for exploring. There are cute restaurants just steps away from the property if you want to get some breakfast, like O Corvo at Largo dos Trigueiros (there are also many supermarkets nearby). You’re mere minutes away from the start of legendary tramline 28e from Martim Moniz square as well as other tramlines from Praça da Figueira (like 15e which takes you to Belem). A nearby must-see is the view from the castle of Sao Jorge (just a short walk from the apartment). As I mentioned, host Maria was a delight from the start, incredibly supportive and helpful.

We have zero complaints but it’s worth noting that if you have mobility issues, the stairs leading to the apartment will be challenging. Other reviewers commented on the streetlight outside being very bright so we brought sleep masks, but found we didn’t need them. The light is a very warm orange so the little light that does slip by the curtain or blinds is more of a sunset glow that didn’t bother us. Worth coming prepared though if that sort of thing disturbs you.

clean, good location, modern amenities

the bed was uncomfortable and the street light in the bedroom window was very bright at night- the curtains didn’t cover the window enough and it made the room bright at night causing bad sleep.

Excellent location in Alfama, walkable to almost everything, a spacious apartment with air conditioning in both the bedroom and the common space, beautiful skylights and a modern feel. The host, Maria, was incredibly communicative and shared many recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, and self check-in was a breeze after an overnight flight.

The mattress was a little firm for us, and the towels could be a bit softer, but we've found this to be common in European guesthouses.
