Apartamento Bairro Alto

Location was quite OK.

We got an apartment in the groundfloor which i do not believe corresponded to the one we had actually booked… The owner (nice woman) hardly spoke English so it was impossible to communicate with her really. We were also tired after the very early flight. So only later we fully realised we clearly got the wrong apartment. It was nothing like the photos of the apartment we booked (which was also supposed to be in the higher floor!!). We did not want to spoil our weekend in Lisbon and did not want to have any fights with them so we just let it go. But we shouldn’t have… the apartment was absolutely not what we paid for. It was dark, cold (ok, there was an oldish heater…), not clean (terribly dirty sofa, dirt in the bathroom…). No electric kettle, half- broken old terrible leaking coffee machine… No balcony, no view, nothing!! The worst part was the terrible humidity in the apartment! On top of that, since the apartment was in the groundfloor - right next to the entrance door, other guests were ringing the bell to our apartment thinking this was the light switch in the staircase…

Comunicare inexistenta

Die Lage ist genial. Es ist leise, zentral, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Viele Bars und Restaurants umständlich Eck. Der Gastgeber ist sehr bemüht.

Die Küche war nicht sauber und nicht einladend zum selber kochen.

La habitación era bastante amplia, la cama era cómoda, el barrio era muy silencioso, cocina bien equipada, calentadores, platos, tazas, etc. Contaba con perchero y lavarropas. Dos amplias ventanas que daban a la calle.

El sistema de entrada no es fiable, además el anfitrión no fue amable en el inicio. Llegamos cuando empezó a llover y no respondía los mensajes, entonces en la desesperación tratando de tocar el timbre "bloqueamos" la puerta y el anfitrión nos atendió de manera muy desagradable, culpándonos del "bloqueo", además, no era el anfitrión real, sino el padre del mismo. Mientras fue a buscar la llave correcta en su casa, que estaba a la vuelta, vino con un paraguas, pero para él, no para nosotros que nos quedamos a esperar en la calle en plena lluvia. Fue a buscar otra llave y volvió, esto hizo 3 veces hasta que por fin pudo abrir la puerta, hizo con ayuda de su hija que también estaba nerviosa. Estuvimos como 15 minutos mojándonos en la lluvia. Tener en cuenta que es una zona con mucha inclinación o zonas donde el Uber no llega. Tuvimos que caminar para llegar.

La ubicación. El padre del anfitrión es un señor mayor muy agradable que tiene un bar justo en la calle de al lado.

Las escaleras para acceder al apartamento no son para todo el mundo, demasiado estrechas y empinadas. No especificaba cómo se recogía las llaves y tuve que llamar por teléfono para que vinieran.
