Nemeapolis 2 apt

Appartamento nuovo e pulito, al centro di Nemea con servizi molto vicini (bar, taverne, farmacie supermercati...). Staff molto disponibile, ci hanno sistemato un materasso per nostro figlio piccolo come abbiamo chiesto e sono stati molto reattivi quando abbiamo fatto altre richieste.

Qualche mancanza nella dotazione dell'appartamento: stracci e pezzette (che sono stati procurati la mattina dopo), posate di legno, buste extra per spazzatura, carta assorbente. Piccolezze ma con un bimbo piccolo ed esigenza di lavare spesso stoviglie e cucinare diventa importante!

Clean, snacks, all available amenities, accessible

Room and water temperature was cold. Had to run the AC through the whole night so we would not freeze. A carpet during winter would probably help. The sofa was not very comfortable.

We would have liked some local information to guide us to places of interest and restaurants, wineries etc. On the weekend we were there, there was a wine festival which we found out by fortunate coincide. It would have been nice to know what was on offer.

Beautifully appointed and equipped apartment in convenient location for restaurants, shops etc. Generous provision of food and wine! We wish we had spent longer there.

We tried to work the washing machine, but failed.

So many extra add on amenities it was fabulous! Spacious, clean, location was great and easy to find. Owner was easy to communicate with. Breakfast was substantial. We loved our stay here. We needed to get our hire car back to the airport mid morning the next day so it was a perfect distance from Neapoli after our ferry from Kythera.

The shower head didn’t stay up.

The apartment is very well equipped and furnished. Also tastefully decorated. The location of the front door is on the Main Street next to a bread shop and a cafe. The apartment itself is quiet and has a balcony facing the evening sun with a roll down screen if shade is required. Good breakfast food provided. Two bottles of wine and decanters of home made liqueur were provide. There was a definite attention to detail and Nikos messaged us to check that there were no problems.

There is parking available nearby, but it would be helpful to have an information sheet about where not to park and where would be best. We arrived in the evening when roads were quiet, but it was different in the morning.

Expectations exceeded. The apartment was so well kitted out, one imagines one could live there for weeks (though we only stayed 1 night and did not take advantage of all the provisions). The host clearly has thought through all the things one may need. The location is very central within Nemea but our room looked out over the backstreets (and mountains behind) so it was actually very quiet. Lots of nearby shops / bakeries / cafes (which open from very early to very late). Perfect place to explore local wineries (though we did not plan for this - we would next time we visited). Communication and check-in very straight forward.

Not much to dislike at all. If nitpicking, then it was slightly curious that no laundry detergent was provided, although there was a washing machine. We were not expecting the washing machine and didn't need to use it, so this is not a 'dislike' - but in context of everything else being so well provided (choice of soaps, shampoos, shower gels, washing up liquid, cleaning provisions, biscuits, coffees, teas, cake from local cafe etc. etc.), I wondered if this was a slight oversight.
