"Another excellent stay at Silvergrove"

Our 3rd stay at Silvergrove. We return because it suits our needs perfectly. Very comfortable, very well equipped apartment, ideal for a couple. It's a short walk (10 minutes) into the village centre with 3 pubs, a coffee house (The Pantry), a general stores, a bakery and a decent curry house (Newick Tandoori). Plenty of walking options directly from the apartment. Newick is in a good location for driving to the many local attractions in the area. (We use it as a base for the Glyndebourne Festival which is a 20-25 minute drive.) The hosts are very friendly and it's always nice to arrive and find the fridge well stocked with breakfast essentials and more.

"Extremely relaxing, very hospitable and great location"

Overall feel & layout. Paul & Ann we’re really lovely and Ann was very informative on our arrival. Everything and more including a fridge of goodies for breakfast and a few cans of drink. Not that we used them, but a nice gesture.

We found it to be the perfect apartment for a few nights away. High quality furniture and fittings. Large TV and satellite channels. Some eggs and bacon in the fridge to get you going. Walk in shower. And a sunny private courtyard to the rear.

Love the location, quiet, space, light and friendly owners. Stayed a few times now and always feel safe. Plus space to park my car.

It can get very warm inside on hot weather days.

Beautifully presented apartment all on ground level with eggs, bacon, bread waiting in the fridge for us. Everything you needed and extra. Our IPad charging cable died and the host very kindly gave us one of hers. Nice and quiet and walking distance to the village.

"Lovely comfortable annex - we hope to come back soon!"

This is a lovely, comfortable, well equipped annex with the owners next door. We had a fabulous few days here. Although only a small village, Newick has 3 pubs, a cafe/bakery and local shop. It's a quiet location but a good jumping off point for Lewes, Uckfield, the Ashdown Forest and it's not that far to the coast either.

No complaints at all
