The host is very easy to reach and very accommodating. The location is in a peaceful location. The flat has all what you need including plenty of towels, it is clean and spacious.

Marisa Home is a wonderful place in a quiet neighborhood. The house is perfectly equipped, every detail has been thought out to be comfortable and functional. The host was helpful and friendly. We felt at home. This is the best holiday home we have rented so far. We highly recommend it!

We were looking for a place to disconnect and we found it Owner very dependable Far away from everything yet in 20min you have access to everything Some of the best beaches are around Órzola Very safe, clean, quiet (sometimes dogs at night will haul) 1km from supermarket (check expiration dates)

The house was a great couples retreat. It felt homely and Facilities were good: catering to all our needs. We like how quiet the area was and loved the local beach. A perfect getaway!

The property was in a very quiet spot of the island, in the northern part, which we probably wouldn’t have had a chance to visit otherwise. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were flexible to let us delay the checkout to facilitate us during the trip and we really appreciated this. We would have liked to stay a few days more than what we did! It was an awesome stay!

The only thing that we didn’t like so much were the insects (flies, mosquitos, ants…) but it was no one fault for this. The staff helped us also with that providing all the equipment to face them.

The little house is well-furnished and decorated; it gave us a cozy feeling. It is well-equipped with everything needed for cooking and bedding. The surroundings are perfect for a walk straight into nature.

Unfortunately, the experience was very unpleasant for two reasons: we did not have internet for 3 days out of 7, and the owner did not take the matter seriously. After insisting on having it fixed because we needed internet to work, she finally called the service and organized a technician to come. We had to wait the whole day for the technician ourselves, as she did not bother to come and take care of it. We lost a lot of time due to this inconvenience. When we arrived, there was already no internet, and the owner lied to us, saying it was because of the wind and did not make any serious effort to fix it, keeping us waiting. The second reason for the bad review and score is that right next to the house, there is a construction site in progress since 2 months (we asked the workers). They worked every day (including Saturday!) from 8 am in the morning. The work was extremely loud, the whole house was vibrating, and the dust was flying all around, making it impossible for us to open the windows or sit outside. The workers were basically working in front of our door and using our table, so we could not even use the property as a whole. The owner is clearly renting the property while there is another house being built right next to it (walls are confining), and the work is being carried out very slowly. I would not be surprised if the work needs months and months to be finished as basically only 4 walls were standing. It's a pity as the house is very cute and according to our style, but the internet situation and construction site ruined everything. If we had known, we would have never rented the house. We also filed an official complaint through booking.
