Lucerne Apartment Mount Pilatus

Our host, Olaf, was exceptional and picked us up from the train station. He explained everything to us, e.g. transportation and shopping nearby. He also gave us a bottle of wine.The apartment was clean and cozy. The double bed is firm, and the sofa bed squeaks a bit, which disturbed each other when turning over, but it was otherwise comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. It has the most beautiful view from the apartment, and it has a small terrace to sit outside. Close to Mount Pilatus cable car.

It's a two trip bus ride into Lucerne if you don't have a car, so it's not close to the town. However we were given a travel pass so bus trips were free. Be careful about last bus times up the hill otherwise you have a steep walk. The shower is not very powerful. Could use a toaster in the kitchen. An extra armchair in the living room for more than two people would be nice.

The host Olaf is a great host and very helpful person. He treated us very nicely. He picked us from the Luzern train station as I had 2 kids. Then whenever possible he dropped us in the train station as well, due to which we were able to catch the train at right time. Bus services are also great from here. The location view was great. We were able to see mount Pilatus from the guest House. Thank you so much Olaf for your friendly gesture.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable with amazing views. Our host Olaf was very friendly and thoughtful and very kindly dropped us off at the train station on the day of our departure.

It is a decent size apartment. Exceptional view from the apartment. The host is very helpful and a delight to work with. Proximity to the Pilatus gondola is a plus.

It is not easy getting to and from the apartment to a busy bus stand. Its a serious hike including about 100 steps if you are getting here from the shopping center. You probably wont mind hiking down, but the way up is challenging.

Stunning views location is absolutely spectacular. Our host was a perfect host helping us with everything we could possibly want.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy one-bedroom apartment. The lounge area with a sofa bed was comfortable, and the fully self-contained kitchen, complete with an oven, stovetop, and microwave, made it easy to prepare meals. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the Mt. Pilatus cable car and with convenient access to public transport into Lucerne. Host Olaf was absolutely lovely, picking us up from the station upon arrival and driving us back when we left. He explains ned how everything in the apartment worked and even gave us a delicious bottle of wine . His hospitality added a personal touch to an already great experience. Highly recommend!

A toaster would have been great but used the oven instead

This stay greatly exceeded my expectations. Olaf was the best host I've ever experienced. He was extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. I really hope we get the opportunity to stay at Olafs place in the future again, because it was one of the highlights of our trip. The apartment we stayed in was cozy and very clean. I didn't know what to expect judging by the pictures of the place, but everything was ideal for us. If cozy and comfortable is what you're looking for, this place is perfect.

This didnt negatively impact our stay, but past certain hours the bus doesn't run all the way up to the property. We didn't mind the walk up to the place, but if you're not up for an uphill walk you might have to opt for a short taxi ride.

Olaf is a wonderful host who will help you in any way he can to enjoy your visit in Lucerne. The apartment is clean and has everything you would need. The location is approx 4km outside of the centre of Lucerne but there is a very regular bus service to get to the town. In addition there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the apartment along with a shopping center that’s close by. Also the cable car station to Mount Pilatus is close to the apartment.

My stay at Lucerne Apartments Mount Pilatus was truly unforgettable. The apartment felt like a home away from home, with its peaceful surroundings and stunning views of Mount Pilatus. However, what truly made the experience special was the amazing host, Olaf, who showered us with kindness and genuine hospitality. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to spend quality time together preparing meals and enjoying the space. While the location is away from the old town, it is conveniently close to the Pilatus Bahn, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, this was the best stay of my holiday and I highly recommend Lucerne Apartments Mount Pilatus to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable accommodation in Lucerne.
