GBThe location is on the outskirts of the small town of Qrendi with its narrow, ancient streets and old churches. A great place to walk around with friendly residents going out of their way to point you in the right direction when getting lost in the maze of streets. Qrendi is just fifteen minutes taxi ride from the international airport and so a very convenient place to stay overnight for an early morning flight and our host organised a taxi to take us to the airport and helped us carry our cases downstairs.
The description of the property is misleading. For reasons of privacy and individual comfort we had deliberately booked an apartment with two separate bedrooms. But the so-called two-bedroom apartment proved to be a single room with a flimsy, in-complete partition with the light and sound from one side entering the other section. On the far side of the partition are two single beds and on the near side a small sitting area with an enormous TV screen and a sofa that can be converted into a double bed. People sleeping on the far side have to walk though the sitting area with the sofa bed to gain access the rest of the apartment that contains the kitchen/dining area and shower/toilet room.
GBCheck in went well and the hosts were very welcoming. Very dog friendly. The setting is lovely and very authentic to the island. Everything worked perfectly. We would highly recommend staying here!
