BIG BLUE

Spacious, clean, traditional atmospheric apartment. Beautiful large balcony with great view. Located in a peaceful residential street but easy walking to the port and bars and restaurants. Breakfast and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. The best thing though was the hospitable and friendly owners who picked us up from the airport and took us to the ferry the next morning and made us feel so welcome on our first day in Greece

There was nothing not to like

Everything was lovely. View was great. A little out of the way for walking. I would recommend a car. There was a lot of extras in the fridge and food stuff including great coffee. The driver Alexander was very helpful and knowledgable. Although the beds were firm the pillows and blankets were wonderful! Couldn't ask for anything more. You felt like you were in a small safe comfortable neighbourhood

Maybe a little instruction on how to use the windows would have been helpful as they were quite different than ours.

Breakfast was in the refrigerator. That’s fine but a couple eggs would have been nice. We purchased our out to cook.

Hosts were great The comforters had pungent smell but excellent hosts

Wonderful hosts that made us feel very welcome, driving us to the local Lidl supermarket and even inviting us to watch the football with them in their apartment when a big match was on. The view was great and it was only a short walk to get into the town or to the beach and Alexander gave us lots of advice and information when he drove us to Athens. The apartment had everything we needed and had some lovely personal touches throughout.

The dining chairs squeaked a bit on the marble floor when we moved on them and we are used to slow close hinges on our kitchen cupboard doors so these banged when we forgot this but these were very minor issues.

Fridge was stocked with milk, water, butter, ham, bread and other provisions which was really appreciated and a nice touch even though we only stayed 1 night.
