The design of the cottage is beautiful. We had everything we needed. Very close to the town (5min) and to the beach (15min) with your car. Highly recommend it for a nice stay in Raglan off the beaten track.

We expected the cottage to be completely in nature as suggested by the pictures. However, the cottage is only a couple of hundred meters away from the main highway. It is still very isolated, but not fully emerged into the natural hills of Raglan as you would expect.

Beautiful cabin, the bath is absolutely wonderful and the bed is very comfortable. Lots of gorgeous sitting areas. Well stocked kitchenette.

We couldn't find a corkscrew! It is also quite close to the main road but you can't hear the road noise when inside the cabin.

"Mid-century modern oasis"

A sweet little cabin overlooking a little patch of New Zealand bush. Thought and care has been taken to provide amenities to see you through your stay - the kitchen is small bit perfectly kitted out. Lucy is a very amendable host who provides a little bit of luxury for your stay, including farm fresh eggs!

There is a bit of road noise but that is inevitable due to location on Raglan’s only road into town - however this does die down at night to nothing, to the point that I slept with the doors open without a problem.

"i would 100% stay here again"

the bed was so incredibly comfy as well as the couch. i liked that i felt like i was at home and comfortable. the place was so cozy and warm. the hosts were so lovely leaving milk and eggs too. i would stay here again in a heartbeat

it could have been nice if there was a microwave just to heat up stuff here and there but other than that i have nothing to complain about
