The Beach House on the Hill

Set back up a hill from town, this is a separate detached garage apartment from the owner/operators and their young family. It has wonderful views over the whole bay. We booked last minute and they were ready for us. There are several connected living areas in the apartment, so it would be an excellent choice for a family with multiple kids. Not walking distance to town/beach, but really short drive. Good parking. Owner was friendly and helpful. Cute kids and dogs. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Stunning views from the property. Friendly owner also residing on the property who came to introduce herself and to check all was ok. We thought the accommodation was presented really well.

We thought maybe a change in interior configuration might be worth a try. Perhaps bring the table into the kitchen area for a start. The seating in the kitchen/tv area was not comfortable at all unfortunately. The outdoor seating needs stoppers behind it. It moves back towards the deck edge without you realising as you get on and off it and move around on it; we had a calamity with it falling off the edge of the decking when sitting on it!

Amazing views, fresh interior with great shower and bathroom. Great kitchen setup, with outdoor space adjacent- everything you need! Very friendly hosts, great to have close by for any queries and recommendations places to eat and visit while we stayed.

Uncomfortable bed. Needs replaced. Uncomfortable sofa/futon in living area.
