Casa da Ferraria

The location was excellent. It is right in the tourist hub and we loved the apartment and its vibe. During the day we could hear the chatter and happiness of tourists passing by. And in the evening, the apartment felt peaceful and tranquil. It’s a lovely spot with great views.

As other guests have noted. There is no communication from the owner before, during, or after your stay. Upon arrival, we visited the cafe below (Cafe Lord Byron) and found someone to help. Whilst not particularly friendly or happy to help, we did gain entry.

A beautiful little apartment. Flooded with natural light and with stunning views. Very quiet at night. Clean and spacious.

It's a good idea to bring your own toiletries like soap and shampoo. There was only hand soap in a dispenser. There is a small mini market and also a pharmacy near the train station whete you can get anything you need.

What a lovely, huge space in the center of Sintra! We wish we had even more time at this location! The space felt very at home for us! Bed was comfortable & the apartment is way bigger than expected. Everything was within walking distance.

Location was difficult to find using Google maps. Broken toilet seat. Kitchen could have used some more basic cooking supplies like salt & pepper.

Very central position, the owner allowed us to leave the luggages until we left.

It wasn't so clean.

The location was perfect, in the heart of the historical center. We liked that the apartment has windows into 3 directions.

We had some concerns regarding the cleanliness, the duvet has stains and in the kitchen there was only a used and very dirty sponge, I believe the similar tools should be changed per guest.

Location and the surroundings, you're close to the center and the most iconic Sintra places.

I don't think it's actually suitable for 4 people, it's great just to sleep but 3 people is more accurate IMO.

We loved the location, having a kitchen, and views from the windows.

2 flights of stairs! But that's what old towns are like.

Location: very good. In the heart of Sintra! The host: very friendly and explained everything to us. Was polite and helpful. Apartaments: clean and well equipped.

Only note to others: narrow stairs and parking is not nearby house. For us it was not a problem. We found parking place on the main street easy.
