Perfect location, cozy loft and couldn’t be better for a romantic getaway in Sintra ❤️

Kotoisa , kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Keskustan lähellä , helppo liikkua. Omistajan kanssa yhteys toimi viestitellen.

Sähköt poikki päivän. Omistaja ei ollut kaupungissa . Kommunikointi viesteillä. Onneksi omistaja lähetti apua nopeasti ja sain sähköt päälle. Kiitos! Majoitus paikka on ylimmässä kerroksessa ja kapeat portaat , ei hissiä. Ei sovellu huonojalkaisille .

The apartment is brilliantly located in the centre of Sintra, just up the hill from The National Palace. Great views from the skylights. There is a lovely restaurant close by; Romaria de Baco. That's where the good news ends.

Where do you start ? The bed is held up with two blocks of wood. The sofa is a couple of old pallets with cushions. The toaster has melted and doesn't work. The iron is broken. The toilet cistern lid is cracked, as is the sink, which you rely on to do any washing up. It has no plug. The shower gets blocked. The shower head holder is broken. It is a self catering apartment, but there are no facilities to do this. A disaster of a place. The owner has obviously never tried living in it himself. So here's a message to the owner, who we never met because we were met by one of his (friendly) employees: Sir, wake up and get this place sorted out properly or sell it, because you're obviously not interested in the place. Shame, it could be nice, but it's not.
