Superb view

The location was close to the centre of town. Great location. Building was fairly quiet.

The door access did not work when we first arrived. We had to wait at the front door for 25 min or so to get in. We found the front door key in the apartment. Access was no problem after that.

The apartment is within easy walking distance of the old town. Parking was a bit tight but we found a space in the block on our return every day. There was a problem with the front door code control when we first arrived but it was sorted swiftly after we called for assistance. Everything was clean, the heating and hot water worked well. There are great views from the balcony. We cooked for ourselves a couple of evenings, the utensils were ok but there was only one small very blunt chefs knife. That really does need replacing with a decent set. The bed in the main bedroom is very tight for space on one side but was manageable. All in all the apartment was as described and enabled us to have an enjoyable visit to a lovely part of Portugal.

It is a lovely place. The kitchen and the appliances are top and well equipped. The property is 10' walk from the train station and bus stops. Quiet and friendly. Park on an available space ( I was lucky parked right in front of the door) ,and just buy your daily bus ride ( €13.50 pp) and book your visits in advance. Overall, the apartment is excellent, and it's near and quiet, strongly recommended.

Comfortable and affordable - enjoyed having wine and snacks on the private balcony off the bedroom.

A little far from the main restaurants and parking was somewhat limited at times
