Tavira sweet home

Large apartment with balconies and a great rooftop terrace that has views. Beds themselves were comfortable. Kitchen adequately equipped. Parking nearby.

Uncomfortable lighting, cold blue bulbs and sparse lamps. Dated, well used furnishings. (Somewhat dilapidated) Couch was unusable for its discomfort. Many stairs up. A bit far from downtown.

Spacious apartment in a good location. Loved the bed and the mechanical black-out shutters. Lots of outdoor space. The host is very responsive and informative.

We particularly liked the view from the bedroom over the hills which we actually walked to during our stay. For us the location was superb for the whole of Tavira as we are happy to walk around. The facilities in the apartment were very good and more importantly - everything worked! Admired the decor - especially the New York 5-piece mural. The heating was great, the washing machine easy to understand. Communications were fantastic - very important.

There were rather too many artificial flowers, as opposed to plants but that is a tiny criticism. The lights in the living room were a little dim for reading. All in all, it was excellent.

The apartment is large, bright, spotless, well equipped and very near to the centre, with a good view from both bedrooms. It also benefits from a well laid out roof terrace. The hosts were very helpful and friendly via email and whatsap.

Very spacious clean apartment.

Front street busy some noise. A few things like salt, pepper or sugar in kitchen and extra bathroom tissue would have been nice but we went and got some of these necessaries.
