The location is great, shower was powerful.

The bathroom smells very musty and the floor needs attention, it felt as though you were going to put your foot through it in parts. Small towels, no hand soap and unable to put toilet paper down the toilet, no bags supplied (unhygienic). No dressing table and hallway light by the bedroom is so dim you couldn’t even tell it was on, also the other apartment could see straight into the property as you were unable to reach the blind. Apartment has lovely tall ceilings but the makes it very echoey, some additional soft furnishings are needed.

The location was perfect, the apartment is a good size for two people with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The kitchen tap needs fixing as it keeps falling over. The hot tap in the shower keeps sticking and is very difficult to turn on and off, when it finally does work it is incredibly powerful and the water is scalding, there is a risk that somebody could be burnt. The bathroom floor is spongy which is very unpleasant to walk on and there is damage to the wall in the kitchen area. It would have been useful to have information on arrival explaining how the air conditioner is switched on and where the wifi code is. However these were just niggles which I’m sure can be sorted.

Location, authentic/historical housing.

Brilliant accommodation right in the centre of town. Had everything we need for a very pleasant stay. Staff were very warm and helpful. Just up one flight of stairs so no big deal. Walkable to everywhere in town and most importantly had an espresso coffee machine! Conveniently had a washing machine.

The only downside was the pillows, one was flat, one was lumpy and thin towels.

No breakfast provided, but all appliances were there. Across street from excellent minipreco for food, wine reasonable Close to all TV lots of stations, plenty of heaters were there, as when i went in February, it was cold in the apartment Good response time for requests Lots of hot water

Having to do all correspondence via Booking.com caused a lit of headache. Sometimes she got my email but i had no way of knowing this, and i did not always get her responses to my email Would have been nice if perhaps a bottle of olive oil and/or wine could have been provided for longer stays ( mine was about 14 days) Directions for washing machine were in emojilike things. Hard to figure out settings, and woman showing my place didn't know either. Except for a small intro kitchen kit, and toilet paper, towels, one had to get everything else, though small soap for bathroom sink was there

Just loved the apartment

Yin House is an authentic Portuguese apartment in a great location, near the middle of Tavira. It is well equipped, comfortable and clean.

My only advice would be to include an information pack giving details of the facilities within the apartment and guide to the local area.
