We booked to stay 19 nights at this property but had to cut our stay short due to the harsh living conditions at this place. Where do I even start: 1. We came in winter the Cape Town weather was 10 degrees, the house has no heat source whatsoever. We tried contacting the house owner and management company. This request was ignored. We had to buy our own portable heaters just to stay a couple nights. 2. They only allocate you 40 kvw of electricity on a daily basis. If you need more electricity you have to purchase it on your own. We had to use about 160 kvw a day/ to power heaters, geyser, stove to cook 1 meal a day and lights. They have a prepaid meter there. This is not disclosed at booking, you only find out when the electricity cuts off. 3. The internet is non-existent . They blamed the wind for the house not having connectivity. 4. You cannot have the geyser on whilst you are trying to cook. The power will trip. Then you have to wait about 30 minutes before you can turn it back on again. So you have to wake up at 5-6am, to turn on the geyser if you need to take a shower. 5. You will only get 2 towels/ per person for a week stay. Sheets are only changed once. They also don’t leave any extra linen so you need any extra linen during the week you will be forced to pay the management company 850rands/ or buy your own. 6. The cleaning staff is very rude and unprofessional. They don’t knock before entering the rooms. They walked in on my 13 year old whilst he was taking a shower. Not only that they are very loud and inconsiderate. They show up at 0800 in the morning to strip the beds. Mind you they don’t have linens to replace. You have to wait until 1100 for the laundry guy to arrive. That’s when they can give you clean towels and linens. This had to be the worst experience I have ever had in my extensive travels. This apartment makes Capetown look bad. Instead of nickeling and diming the guests please make sure your guests are comfortable.

Most beautiful view and sunsets. Everything needed for self-catering. Kitchen well equipped: washing machine. Tumble drier and dishwasher added to our comfort. Quiet unit. Wonderful stay. Thank you.

All was good.

View is stunning. Beds a bit creaky and main suite bed very soft. There needs some maintenance done on the taps/showers. Some kitchen appliances need replacing as they didn’t work. Lounge suite springs are gone, also needs updating.

There were some maintenance issues which need to be addressed, badly stained carpets in two of the bedrooms, badly cracked balcony door. Wi-Fi was very in and out and on some days non existent. No notice of work going on in flat above which was so noisy had to go out for the day. No water for one day for block maintenance which was inconvenient.

Shower heads need to be stronger Hot water Certain things like the bedroom main carpets need cleaning, couch in the lounge. Need better heaters for lounge, especially when it's cold.

Everything was great! It is like a home away from home. Great place to stay. I can definitely recommend it to everyone. We have been there before this visit and will definitely go again!! 😄
