Such a shame pictures on booking are not good, as the apartment is really beautiful. Hope the owners change that. The apartment is bright and spotlessly clean. You will find all the utensils in the kitchen, everything you may need for cooking and dining. Hot bags in case you get cold, iron, hair fan, everything. Never saw the owner, but recieved a very fast answer if asking anything in booking.com messages. Everything is near, very centrally located. The back yard is a special delight. We were lucky to have a very sunny Saturday morning, so were making breakfast with back door open and getting all the sun. Tv in every room, if you need that much :D Big mirrors in every bedroom as well, that was a huge plus. Do not hesitate to rent this apartment, it is really awesome.

I would have changed 3 things : matresses are not so comfy for my taste, you can feel the springs. But for 3 night it was not an issue. WiFi is not good, but it's still there and we did no work there, so again not a big issue. It's a building with a history, so floors are squeaky in the apartment and upper neighbours, so you will hear everyone. BUT neighbours do not walk at night or erly in the morning. One thing i would suggest the owner to fix, as it is not a big investment - put some silicone softeners to the doors, so they would close more quietly, as for now if you need to use bathroom at night, you can accidentally wake the whole house up. But non of this cons would affect me and if i needed to go to Thurso again - i'd play it safe and choose this apartent.

I liked everything about the accommodation as it was central and close to the beach, it was airy with plenty of space also all mod cons such as washing machine, cooker etc and even all your cleaning and washing necessities were provided. Windows that you could open were fantastic in the hot weather and even a small grassy garden was next to your front door to enjoy.

Lovely clean apartment. The little touches, like leaving a fresh loaf of bread and a pint of milk really made a welcome change to some places we've stayed. Great location for the town centre or a walk along the beach. We'd definately look at staying here again when we are next in the area.

the Wi-Fi is dodgy but otherwise fabulous.

The location is just off the high street and perfect for where we needed to be. When we arrived the flat was warm and I was delighted to find bread milk tea bags and coffee already there ( plus other items). Flat was very clean and the kitchen had everything including a freezer.

It was all good.
