Luminoso appartamento in Villa a Stresa

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la proximité du lac (10 min à pied), la jolie bâtisse, la possibilité de pouvoir se garer dans la rue, la communication avec notre hôte.

Le lit n'était pas un lit mais un canapé-lit peu confortable. Il n'y avait ni chaise ni table sur la terrasse pour pouvoir profiter de l'extérieur. De plus, la maison juxte un relais électrique.

Lovely second floor apartment with glimpses of the lake. Nice period charm with high French doors and 2 small balconies. Very comfortable.

Very clean. Great location, easy walk to the lake front. Very good communication with the owners. Small but well equipped kitchen.

Not a proper bed, a sofa bed which was not that comfortable. I think this should be clearer in the description.

The apartment in the old villa is actually very bright (unlike the photo), with windows on three sides and two balconies. There are trees all around, and you can see the mountains and even the lake through the other houses. It is easy to find, on the quiet street, close to the station and the shop where the locals shop, 15-20 minutes walk to the port. The kitchen is equipped with the necessary utensils, spices and plenty of coffee. Nice hostess.

The only drawback of this wonderful apartment was that the bed was uncomfortable for us. It was too high and too soft, as if you fell into it, but maybe that's not a disadvantage for someone.

Location was very close to the centre of town and train station. It was in a quiet neighborhood.

It was beside a power transformer station, not a pleasant sight in the midst of a beautiful neighborhood.

Breakfast was not included, however, the lovely host delivered an espresso maker, so we enjoyed cafe every morning!

The heat was not on when we arrived, but I understand that when a home is @ 19 degrees, heating additionally is discouraged. The apartment was @ 19.8. They kindly turned on the heat in the AM, and we were gone all day after that. We were very grateful.
