We have rented in the US and Europe and this was the best property we have ever rented. In a fantastic position, very spacious and it had everything you need and more.

Our only problem was trying to access our Netflix account on the tv, we didn’t succeed. It seemed to us that maybe too many people were signed on from that location and had not signed out. We had iPads with us and watched films on that.

Great location in the centre of Stresa old town, in a secure apartment block. Handy to have the Carrefour opposite to pick up essentials. Basic interior but provides essentials you need for a short stay.

You cannot use the advertised parking space if you arrive outside of the restricted ZTL hours- this was on the weekend. To have been made aware of this at the time of booking would have been helpful, as unfortunately we incurred a daily 14 euro charge for public car park. There was no table of chairs to enjoy the balcony.

Logement très fonctionnel, spacieux, très bien insonorisé, très propre. Tout est accessible à pied au départ du logement. Le parking privé (garage fermé dans un box) est très pratique ! il faut juste penser à arriver avant 18h30 (heure à laquelle la ZTL est activée pour la soirée). Très bonne réactivité de l'Impero House en cas de besoin.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. It is in a lovely area with restaurants very close by, and a supermarket opposite. It's a short walk to the lake where you can get a ferry to the Islands.

Fabulous apartment in the centre of town. Very clean and great with small kids. Walking distance to everything. We loved our stay.

Parking was challenging on a Sunday with the no noise zone. We managed in the side streets until we could move the car on Monday. Was a bit nervous with small kids but managed in the end.

Host reluctant to respond to queries. Confirmation of parking. Details about the Limited Traffic Zone that we were not told about.

Nice apartment, good facilities and equipment, very clean and great location

I had said in advance we would arrive between 18 and 19. Upon arrival we had a small issue with accessing the apartment, I called the owners at 18:40 but nobody replied. I was told the day after it was late. The apartment is in a very nice part of Stresa but please be aware it is in a limited traffic zone (ZTL). This was not clearly indicated by the owner and I had to do my own research on the internet to get information about the hours of closure and so on. Fines for driving in the ZTL when that is active can be hefty and potential customers arriving by car should be informed by the owners, not the case today. Even better, they could seek a temporary exception for guests (I got that in other Italian cities, all taken care of by the hosts). The day before our departure I asked the owners (at 16:00 hours by WhatsApp) to pay the local tourist tax by bank transfer. I received an answer only the day after (we had already left), just asking me to leave the cash payment on the table. I have paid the tourist tax in other places in Italy by debit or credit card. This should be possible but in this case the owners showed no flexibility. All in all, nice apartment but I would not go back as there are better hosts. Not possible to get in touch with them, slow responses, unwillingness to meet some reasonable requests from the guests.
