This is a beautiful, well equipped basement apartment with a private separate entrance and nice outdoor space. We enjoyed sitting in the back yard overlooking the sunset at the end of busy days exploring the peninsula. Alan was great about communicating via the Booking.com site and then sharing his cell number. He was there to meet us upon arrival but then very quickly provided privacy. The apartment is rather hidden - at the end of a residential road and confusing driveway - but provides a wonderful setting. We also appreciated being able to do laundry, located in a common room next to the apartment.

We had no complaints during our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Even though there is some renovations and construction in neighboring houses, we found the apartment to be very quiet.

Self catered. Beautiful elevated view and lovely garden to enjoy it, with plenty of seating, an outside table and BBQ. Really peaceful to relax. I’ve never seen so many stars at night. Nice sized bedrooms with super comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely sheets, freshly decorated and very clean.

Unless you are used to walking steep hills, you do need a car. There is a short cut down to the beach but you need to be fit. We found the small kitchenette/living space perfectly adequate for our short stay but may prove more difficult if the weather doesn’t permit being outside, which is the bonus of the property. Our only problem was that we were woken very early in the morning - 6:30 to 7:00 by heavy footsteps overhead. Hard to return to sleep at that time. Great for those who want to get on with their holiday early.
