"Quality accommodation in a historic building"

The property is steeped in history and hence a fascinating place to stay. It is in a great location in the heart of the town, down a quiet side street. The host that meet us took the time to share some of the history, which was really appreciated. All the facilities are in great condition.

Less, "didn't like" and more "reality check". We booked a room that had a small balcony and we did sit out there to have a drink. But in practice it didn't get the sun as it is North facing. It doesn't have much of a view. And is surrounded by air conditioning units. The listing didn't imply anything to the contrary, so no concern there. And having the balcony was better than not having. Just worth setting expectations.
