Sea Salt, Sagres Apartment

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt.

Der einzige Mangel war der Geruch aus den Abflüssen im Badezimmer

Sehr zentral gelegene ruhige Wohnung.

Der Abfluss der Dusche riecht schlecht.

Das Check-in war etwas kompliziert

Clean spacious two bedroom apartment. Located right by local eateries and cafes. Within walking distance of the beach. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, beautiful balcony off the kitchen to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning

Apartment is very spacious, bright and clean. It has a great kitchen, balcony. Air conditioning working as heater as well. We liked our stay. Everything just like in the photos provided by owner.

Everything! The apartment is spacious and comfy, it’s really easy to feel “like home” here. Host is incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to support if needed (I had a personal circumstance and he showed so much flexibility and willingness to help, extraordinary 👏🏻 Location is also handy ;) very grateful for the treatment, space and experience overall. Recommend 100%

Nothing to complain at all

The place is very tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The host is very responsive. It was ideal for kids given all the games, puzzles, bins sacs stuffed toys. Comfy beds. The sun umbrella was a life saver!!

Unfortunately there were often unpleasant smells in the apartment (twice it smelled like sewage in the bathroom). Definitely not the fault of the host (the place was really faultlessly clean) but probably the building infrastructure, maybe the strong winds outside blew through the piping. I underestimated how cold and windy Sagres was, though we were only using it as a home base so it wasn’t a big deal. Despite the town being small a sleepy, there were very loud drunk people passing by our windows almost every night which was a little disruptive to the sleep. Overall, zero complaints to the host but it’s just a personal report.

Overall nice apartment, but we had to leave because of the below. Once that's fixed I would recommend it, however the host has not refunded us, so I cannot be sure you wouldn't be treated the same if any other problems came up

the main sofa smelt like wet dog, or like it had been left damp for several. We stayed the first night anf I sat on the floor whilst we watched TV. The next day we left, 2 nights early, to move somewhere else, as we didn't believe that the sofa could be deep cleaned whilst we were there. We were not refunded by the host so we left unhappy with our stay. It's hard to recommend staying here and it's a shame as the apartment is really nice. I just wouldn't stay there until you confirm the sofa is clean and also be wary if something goes wrong.
