U Catoiu

That was my second stay at U Catoiu, and the fact speaks for itself. Unique accomodation on the main street of Chianalea with own access to the sea and always great care of her guests from Fortunata.

Beautiful house in the center of the village. Exceptionally comfortable room with the balcony over the sea. Just amazing. Fortunata is super helpful and very friendly host. Excellent breakfast. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Easy parking a few hundred meters from the house.

The balcony over the sea was lovely and relaxing. The restaurant literally steps away across the alley was terrific - all up a very easy stay.

We loved our stay. Enjoying sunrise and sunset on the deck overlooking the water was very special. The stay is located in an excellent position with everything immediately near or easily accessible on foot. The host made us feel very welcome and made sure everything was excellent and also dropped us off at the train station. A great stay.

What a fabulous place! Beautiful apartment with an amazing balcony right above the sea. Clean, quiet and in such a beautiful village. Would love to return!

Everything was just great! The only negative thing I could think of was that the AC was too loud to use during night.

Everything about the accommodation is excellent. Fortunata is a wonderful host, very kind and friendly. The apartment location is just the best, close to everything we could need. Breakfast was delicious, the room was incredibly clean with a comfortable bed and great shower. Worth it for the views from the balcony alone. Loved every minute and hope to return ❤️.

Unique experience: living in a used-to-be fisherman's house with all the comfort and amenities; having access to the sea in your “courtyard” where you can have coffee while watching waves dancing.  Fortunata is incredible in her kindness, warmth, and care.  Breakfast is plentiful. Everything in the house is very clean and very well maintained, with many unique decor items handcrafted by Fortunata’s husband. When staying at the U Catoiu, it feels like staying in a standalone house: no typical neighbors noise, just the sound of waves.  At the same time, a few steps up after you lock your door, and you are on the beautiful street with cafes, bars, and stores. Enjoyed my stay very much!

The local was a perfect our host was excellent collected us up from train station and did the drop off very helpful with everything that was asked of her

A very special room that was comfortable and decorated beautifully. The owner was on site and extremely helpful. The location was wonderful. The owner also pick this up from the train.
