Sunlight Apartment

Everything was very nice, apartment was close to the centre and bus station. Next to the building was shopping center, so there was no problem to buy food or anything else. Apartment was exactly as is shown in the photos (just the view from balcony is limited, because new bulding grew up there, but still great). Owner was very helpful, there was no problem with late check in (we arrived at 2:00 in the night), he gave us keys and show apartment personaly, it was very nice. On the apartment was prepared bottle of macedonian wine (we do not drink wine, so we did not taste it and left there for the next travelers, but nice gesture), pack with mini croissaints, in the freezer was ice, a lot of glasses etc in kitchen, and some candy + bottle with water, which we really appreciated. In the apartment is stable wi-fi, schedule of airport bus, tips for trips etc. The owner was also very helpful with recommendations. In the bathroom was after-sun lotion (we did not know if it was by owner or some guest left there), but we really appreciated it because after 1 day we were totally burned (our visit 10.3.2025). Tips for travelers to Macedonia: You have to buy a Bus station fee (30 dinars per person) despite you bought tickets online - it was something new for us, I recommend have extra 10 minutes before arrival, because there was a line for this. We traveled by flixbus and the driver needs paper copy of a ticket, online QR was not enough.

The bed was very hard and made noises at the slightest movement; instead of breathable slats, there was a solid board under the mattress, so I felt very warm and swet all night - but we walk so much so we slept well and I do not see reason for lower evaluation, the bed linen was clean, and there was a mattress protector. No negative, just a small tip for little money big impact - 1. Buy a socket splitter so that both a lamp and a mobile phone can be charged by the bed. 2. The balcony cannot be closed from the outside, so to prevent smoke from coming inside, I had to prop the door with a chair from the inside. 3. Buy 1 big and 1 small sharp knife, it makes big difference (but in general is the kitchen very nice).

The location was very convenient. Close to the city center, bus station and a shopping mall-supermarket. It was really clean and they were very helpful, recommending local restaurants, transportation alternatives and must-see attractions. Check-in and check-out were easy. Very easy to communicate with.

I had an amazing stay at Sunlight Apartment in Skopje! The apartment is modern, stylish, and filled with natural light, creating a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere. It’s in a great location, close to everything but still peaceful. The hosts were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Skopje – I’ll definitely be back!

10 minutes walking distance to Skopje bus station. There are many items here that you don't even have in your own home. The owner has thought of everything down to the smallest detail. Although we arrived in December, the house was incredibly warm, there is both heating and air conditioning. Ivan picked us up half an hour before check-in time and introduced us to the house. A very friendly host. If I come to Skopje again, it would be an apartment I would choose.
