We could not sleep as the property is right at a square where very loud music was played and people talking and singing in to microphone until late in the night. We were crew for Spartathlon runners and needed a rest but this was impossible with the noise levels. After we had booked this place we were advised of occasional music on a Friday or Saturday night. But we stayed on a Sunday night and the noise levels were extremely loud. In addition, there was no cutlery left for us. Not even one spoon, knife or fork. The property was totally overpriced for 1 night stay, considering that it was impossible to sleep there and having to eat with your fingers. The matraze on the bed was very poor quality and very uncomfortable.

Very discrete hosts, but also quite helpful when in need. Was an impromptu booking due to a previous one at a different place gone wrong, but everything was ready by my arrival time. Super central location, and thanks to Sparta's straightforward city planning, you are not going to miss it. All necessities provided, clean as you like, the fastest internet connection you can get in the area, as well as a first-aid kit in the bathroom counter for good measure 😀

As the hosts mentioned, due to the fact that most of Sparta's nightlife as well as festivities may be situated around the city square area, a weekday stay would be preferred if you're sensitive to noise. Would be considerate to ask the hosts before that if there are any events outside the regular nightclub activity, mainly in the summer season, that may occur during your booking period. Usually, it is unlikely and there are other venues where events are taking place. Maybe a minor con the lack of bottled water if you're suspicious, but the pipes have been changed fairly recently at a big part of the city area, so even the tap water is perfectly drinkable.

Due to the apartment's location next to the central town square, it's difficult to seal off the loud noise from the music of nearby nightclubs

Everything was excellent ….except ….

The noise was horrific ! Like being right in the middle of an exceptionally bad night-club. The warnings are buried deep in the reviews, but take them seriously. This is nothing you fix with ear-plugs. Really bad, really loud music until 02:00 AM

Great communication great easy access great property.. location is also great but we should have been tile re the close proximity of the nightclub prior to making payment. Hosts had home made cake ready for us which was great. If I had to pick something maybe balcony chairs could have been more comfy. Other than that great value for money.

Everything was perfect, very well located, well equipped, nice balcony, great tips from the owners

The tap in the kitchen and the toilet were somehow hard to use: it was either too much pressure or no pressure at all
