La Casa de Jabe - Toledo Casco Antiguo

This was such a gorgeous, beautifully furnished apartment that was perfectly located in the historical centre of Toledo. However, the real standout was our host Antonio, who was so accommodating. He met us at the apartment and even helped us carry our bags up the staircase. He provided so many supplies for our breakfast and even bought child-friendly foods for our toddler. He went above and beyond to help us, even arranging an early morning taxi for us. Communication was excellent, he contacted us in advance with restaurant and activity recommendations, which was a huge help in planning ahead

Great location, great facilities, a lot of food provided to make breakfast even a lot of oranges to make juice. Antonio the host was superb, very communicative, very helpful, and when we had a personal issue, he went above and beyond to help us.

Can’t say enough good things about the apartment. It really helped us feel like locals for our four-night stay. Wonderful views of the Cathedral one direction and across the Tagus River from the other direction. Antonio was also a very caring host! The location is on a tiny calle with no motor traffic. It feels very quiet even though you’re only meters from amazing sights in Toledo.

Location was perfect. Easy to walk to all the sites. Beautifully decorated with a contemporary kitchen and bathroom. Antonio was a fantastic host and easy to communicate with. He fully stocked the refrigerator with many breakfast items. My favorite was the juicer for fresh orange juice. A great view of the cathedral from the balcony off the kitchen.

Amazing selection of products provided for breakfast. Kitchen extremely well supplied with glasses/crockery/kitchenware - although a larger earthenware baking dish would also have been usfeul. Good heating and hot water - much appreciated as weather was cold. Access street and indoor stairs are steep, so not suitable for everyone, but good advice (and discount) advised for local car park. Nice and quiet.

A lovely apartment, spacious but cosy, well located and with great views. Antonio was a wonderful host, friendly and proactive. Very generous supplies for breakfast.

While not an issue for us, those thinking about booking should be aware that you have to climb a couple of steep flights of stairs to reach the apartment.

Delicious breakfast, well located, charming decor and very pleasant host. Views from the second story. A quiet community area. Just loved staying there.

Climbing 2 narrow flights of stairs to the apartment was challenging. The lovely apartment is down a flight of stairs or steep embankment which we coped with and would still gladly return to La Casa. Remember Toledo is hilly anyways.

Antonio was a great Host. He met us at the property and showed us the carpark. The views and accommodation were fantastic. This place should be put on anyone's Bucket list. It is such a good place. Central and in easy distance to sight seeing. Madrid 30 mins away on the train.
