My partner and I loved this place! We spent 1 night in Toledo, the apartment was furnished to perfection with little homely touches that radiated joy and romance. There was cozy furniture, beautiful kitchenette and spacious showers. The establishment even has a fun, spooky little cave underneath - a must-see! The owner Raquel is SO lovely, very welcoming and goes above and beyond for every guest, helping us to book taxis and accommodating our schedules. It's clear she loves the establishment and takes very good care of it. An absolutely unmissable, must-stay location in Toledo city centre. My partner and I regretted not staying there multiple nights!

La Casita de Candela es un conjunto de apartamentos reformados y decorados con un estilo precioso e impecable. Las camas son muy cómodas, la ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro y con mucha tranquilidad para poder descansar y dormir, que además cuenta con todas las comodidades. Raquel es una anfitriona muy amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar. Llegamos en un momento en el que el centro estaba cortado porque había procesiones y nos indicó dónde dejar el coche para que no tuviéramos problemas. Además siempre ha estado atenta a cualquier necesidad que pudiéramos tener. Muchas gracias Raquel. Indudablemente recomendamos este alojamiento.

Un lloc preciós, al mig del casc històric de Toledo!!!

The appartment has some old walls, but it is well reconstructed and very clean; the house is interesting. There is an inner court as a common area where one can wait. The furniture and equipment follows the ecological and natural principle, it has a soul. The kind owner waited for me at the door when I arrived, this was very nice and helpful, so she explained everything, and also when departing helped me to order the taxi to the station (it is not so obvious to drive a car in the narrow medieval streets). The appartment where I stayed is well organised, the space is well used. The equipment is practical, new and with a natural touch, and I ESPECIALLY liked the small cubes of natural soap on a little wooden desk with a wonderful smell. The position of the appartment is very central, so it is ideal for visiting everything, but it is not noisy, as it is in a hidden street.

The lights are stylish, giving a very yellow natural light, which is good for the atmosphere but if you need to read something, it is a little bit dim. Also, the appartment door giving to the inner court is of glass so if you need darkness for sleeping it is not completely dark in the morning. But still is is very good. You can use the kitchen, and you have salt there but if you need oil, you have to buy it. I would also love to see the the water boiler. The street is a little bit hidden, it does not look so excellent from the outside, but in reality it is a good stay, I could say quite perfect.
