Apartments Aga

Nice views of the bay of Ulcinj from the terrace. The property is located in a quiet area but very close to the old town and the beach. The host was very kind and friendly. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Parking space available.

The hostress is friendly, helpful and very pet friendly (we travelled with 2 dogs), nice location with beatiful views and an indoor private parking space.

The wifi internet didn't work.

The owners son greeted us and was very friendly and welcoming and did a great job. the next day we met the mother who was also so very lovely and apologetic that her son might have done a bad job, he didn’t, he was excellent. The apartment has great views and in summer I bet it is an even better place to stay as it will be much warmer.

The shower was a bit broken, it worked but not great, but They really didn’t expect our visit as it was last minute so I’m sure they will fix this.

I will take into account the quality-price ratio when I give this rating. I would note as a positive things, the very large common terrace with a beautiful view of the city and the sea (although it had no shade at all, but in the evening it was ok), the room balcony, the possibility of parking and the location close to the old town (about the only thing to note from Ulcinj). All these can compensate to some extent the list of minuses.

Although the host was kind and well-intentioned, there were a number of details that affected the final impression. Insufficient crockery (2-3 mugs and glasses, a few forks thrown in a cardboard box from some candies), hot water dripped in the sink and the solution found by the host was to put a dish sponge to dampen the noise). The excessive heat in July was fully felt in the rooms on the first floor (the roof was only the concrete slab from an unfinished floor), and the air conditioning barely coped, especially at lunch. When we left for lunch, we left the AC on in the hope that when we returned (maximum 1 hour) it would reduce the accumulated heat while we were away at the beach, but the host entered the room and turned off the AC. Well, I can understand that we are saving money and as a result we respected this unprecedented custom, but if he keeps entering the rooms he could also throw garbage bags! And speaking of trash (can), not only did you not have a trash can except for the one in the bathroom, no trash bags were provided either (I used my own bags). But the most disturbing aspect was by far the heat in the bathroom, which was a real sauna and was not equipped with a fan, and the heat accumulated both from the concrete floor and from the boiler.

Great location, nice view, staff more friendly, if i will come back again i will stay there . Everything is near : beach, markets, castle etc

It should be mentioned that it is necessary to walk a steep road to access the property from both the beach area and the old town. It was not a problem for us but it could be an issue with people with mobility issues or elderly people.
