Appartamento Bononia - By Impero House

Close to station, lake and supermarket. Spacious rooms. Kitchen well stocked with small appliances, pots and crockery including some essential condiments. Staff were responsive to contact.

The bed configurations was not as expected with single sofa and trundle in 2nd bedroom not a double bed as previously communic!ted. This was unfortunately not comfortable. There was no hot water in the shower. Washing machine not working as no supply of cold water to machine or shower. This could not be fixed and we were relocated to an alternative apartment which did not have the ammenities specifically booked in original apartment. Though the location was closer to town more modern and much quieter, this apartment was much smaller and not well equipped. In new apartment(Max14), the 2nd bedroom had no window, wardorbe and had a single day bed not designed or suitable for overnight sleep on consecutive days. Also few appliances which negated the preference for an apartment over a hotel. Bononia was a bit dated, the wifi required regular re booting, there were limited power point sockets. The apartment block was very noisy - not great sound proofing for foot traffic, upstairs tenants, barking dogs, banging doors and early morning industrial activity. Though the staff responded swiftly, we lost a significant portion of our first day sorting out the issues. The accomodation would have been ok if the facilities were functioning and as described.

L'appartement est très bien placé, au centre de Stresa, à 5 minutes à pied de l'embarcadère pour les îles Borromées. L'appartement est parfait pour 4 personnes, et c'est un endroit calme,la literie est bonne. Il y a pas mal de places gratuite approximité.

Le mitigeur de la douche est un peu capricieux pour obtenir la bonne température. Une petite table basse en face du canapé serait la bienvenue.j

Well-positioned, just a few minutes from the lake and from restaurants.

Wi-Fi didn't work although the staff tried to fix it.

Great location and flat was well equipped. Short walk away from the lake, bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.
