Domus Colonnato su Villa d'Este

Gina was very helpful to us. There was a big bowl of fruit when we arrived. And she even drove us to the grocery store! The location, overlooking Villa D'Este grounds, was the best! We love Tivoli, and this was a beautiful place to stay.

The bed in the 2nd bedroon was a bit squeaky.

The apartment was so peaceful and serene and very quiet. We slept beautifully. And the terrace overlooking Villa d’Este is really special.

My requests are small since it was a lovely stay: A toaster would have been nice! Also a comfortable arm chair to sit in downstairs in the dining room/kitchen. If you are a couple, this wouldn’t be an issue since the extra room would be a living room, but if you’re a family, there isn’t any place to sit other than the kitchen table.

Gina met us at the car park and drove us to the property. She helped with the luggage and gave us a tour of our 2 apartments. Both apartments were updated, spotless and nicely decorated. The apartments are small, but they fit our needs fine. The terrace overlooking Villa D'Este gardens was very nice. It's important to note that you cannot park anywhere near the apartment, so you do have a long walk to the parking area, or you can call a cab. Also important to note that there is a bedroom within the bedroom, so one person in each apartment has no privacy. Not a problem for my family, but that may not work for some situations. The entire city is on a hill, so you are always walking up or down. Nothing is flat. We loved walking through all the alleys. The city and the apartments are charming. My mother did have a hard time walking, but the rest of us had no issues. Gina was the perfect host and was always quick to respond to our questions.

The location is incredible for its proximity to Villa d’Este. There is a large outside terrace off the main bedroom and the large twin bed space, with fantastic views of the pathways of Tivoli Gardens. Gina is an incredible host.

Absolute gem of a place. Located only minutes walk from the Villa D’Este, our balcony overlooked the gardens of the villa during the day and gave us a place to star gaze, spot satellites and shooting stars at night. Our host Gina went over and above collecting us from the station to drop us at the property. Absolutely adored every single thing about our time in Tivoli and this home.

Oh my goodness - what a wonderful lady that greeted us and the property was just beyond wonderful, simply perfect. Cleanest place we have ever stayed, so charming and everything you could need for a wonderful stay. No words to describe to absolutely perfect location, sitting on the terrace listening to the birds and fountains - very differcult to leave this wonderful apartment. Thank you so much.

Nothing. A fan might be useful it was extremely hot during our time in Italy, otherwise fantastic. nothing negative to say.

Gina was responsive and helpful. The property had a modern and clean presentation in the heart of the old city. Beds were good and water pressure excellent. The property was well stocked with juice and milk and pre-made breakfast foods. The outside sitting area shared a wall with the Villa d'Este which created a cool and relaxing place to hang. We did love that the two apartments connected in the back. The old city is all within walking distance. The property is down the hill from a lot of the action and there are a few internal stairs to navigate so, it you have mobility issues, it could be a problem.

Beautiful location overlooking the gardens. Very clean throughout and comfortable bed. We stayed for 10 days and the bedding and towels were changed halfway through our stay. Lovely fresh fruit and other breakfast items provided. Gina kindly picked us up from the station and was very welcoming. Plenty to do in the area, great bars and restaurants. Lovely market and plenty of little shops. Good bus service to Rome.
