Castelo do Mar, Madeira

The view and location is really great. In house is all equipment you can need during the vacation. The host is very friendly, offers additional activities, recommends places to eat.

We lived in the first floor. During the day time inside is quite dark, so you need to use electricity. The jacuzzi need to be repaired and it would be good do not use as many chemicals (chlorine etc) in such a beautiful nature. There are alternatives for them. By the way if neighbours live in other side you can hear everything what they talking.

We really liked everything in this beautiful place. Castelo is full of comfort and very unique with amazing hills and ocean views.

During our stay, construction work was done in the unit above us.

This is a spacious apartment that is beautifully finished. We had a small, private pool - the weather was a bit chilly so only had one dip! The views from the terrace with the pool are simply stunning. It is a special relaxing place. All facilities are new and the large bed is super comfortable. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful.

A car is a must. It is difficult to walk anywhere. We did do a walk to Ribeira Brava to explore the locality but the better places are just a short drive away.

The view was unlike anything I have ever seen. The property was beautiful and we took full advantage of all the amenities.

It was beautiful and spacious with really lovely views! Loved the balconies and hot tub!
