The Blue Lagoon

My Happy place is the ocean. Being between two bodies of water. My granddaughter accompanied me to my Junior High School Reunion.

Pool , beach and gym closed early

No breakfast. Loved both restaurants and bars. Loved the 2 for one Fish deal on Tuesday. Pool was nice although very warm. Good shower and toiletries. Loved the water view from balcony. Great for a 2 night stay.

High bacteria at beach. Two many extension cords seemed a little unsafe. Beds and pillows not vey comfortable, I thought price was a little high for what we got. They acted like laundry was in the kitchen. Could not cook anything although there were plenty of dishes but nowhere to wash them.

The gym

I thought I would have a one bed king size. The bed was too small for my husband and I.

This location is absolutely gorgeous! The host made accessing the property easy, responded to messages in a timely manner and was very nice. The amenities on property were great, it is a very quiet location with beautiful views. The room was clean, wifi worked well. While it is a little small, it was still very relaxing. I loved the decor as well.

My only complaint is that the light on the balcony was very bright, it made it hard to sleep unless we covered it up with a towel. I know this probably isn’t something the host can fix because there were lights outside of all units. It would’ve been nice if it had a switch or something. Overall though, the room was great!

The Blue Lagoon doesn't exist. When you arrive, you won't be able to find it, when you ring the owners, they will direct you to a room at The INN Harbour Bay, which is a far cheaper accommodation with a very low star rating compared to the advertised, so called, Blue Lagoon. As we were duped and because there was a violent arguments on the block with no security on the entrance to the complex or to be seen around and there is no reception on site because the property is remotely controlled we left immediately and complaid to Booking.com. this property is not as advertised. Booking.com has been made aware of the aforementioned, and I requested a full refund, but Booking.com only paid me 25 euros, into their wallet, for our inconvenience even though I pointed out we had been duped by the owners.as explained earlier. Avoid this place like the plaque!!!

Being DUPED into thinking we were staying at a property we actually booked, not a property we would have never considered booking, then being left to get on with it by Booking.com!!!
