Lady D House Watamu

The villa facilities were brilliant! Great pools, one with kiddie pool. Lots of sunbeds and the environment was very relaxing even with kids around. The gardens were beautiful, well maintained. Pool was always clean and with attendants! The villa was clean (most of the time). Living in the coast close to the beach sand particles are every likely to get into every room. It is right on the beach (3 min walk past the two pools and through the beautiful gardens. Papa Remo restaurant is about 7/10 min leisure walk on the beach...if you fancy some Italian cuisine.. House keeping: The lady who looked after the house, Scarlett was very lovely, courteous. The chef, Sifa, prepared the fish dishes wonderfully! Breakfast was a feast! We were travelling 3 adults, 2 children and all were happy with all the villa and it's facilities around offered. . The host: Deborah, was in constant communication with us prior to stay. The manager, Katana, was checking on us and very courteous!

The place runs on kplc power grid and diesel generator. A couple of times we would be on generator which is loud (ish) some times off completely hence no water being pumped into the houses. This was for most of the villas though. Luckily it was in the afternoons when kids are swimming.
