和宿 湯沢チャオ Wayado Yuzawa Ciao

It is very near to the Echigo Yuzawa station, less than 5min walk, sheltered all the way other than a road that you need to cross. The host is quick in response when you message. Even has netflix on TV and we watched movies at night.

the toilet and kitchen area is a bit cold.

It's very close to JR train station.

Have to make the futon beds by ourselves. No elevator on premise.

Location, cleanliness, good value for money.

No elevator and the hot water is not hot as I expected.

Good location which is about 5mins walk from the train station. Having a coffee machine and providing the capsules which brew some pretty decent cuppa. Very helpful and friendly host.

The staff is always available to help. Good facilities: microwave, coffee machine provided other than refrigerator and washing machine. Good amenities and space.

No elevator, even though the staff help me to move the luggage up and down the steep stairs to upper floor.

Fully equipped facility and it is almost sheltered all the way from the front entrance to the train station. Good location which we used as a base and our JR pass was well utilised to travel to Niigata, Nagono etc.

The steep staircase but we were told many times before we arrived hence we were not caught by surprise. Not much activity in the neighbourhood after 7pm so do stock up the fridge with food.
