The only positive aspect was a kind gesture from the hosts a friend who celebrated his birthday during the stay received a bottle of champagne as a gift. We sincerely thank them for that.

Unfortunately, my stay at this place was very disappointing. I was persuaded by the many positive reviews and the charming photos of the property, but the reality turned out to be completely different. The first issue was the very poor access to the property. The parking area, which according to the description is available for guests, is located on a very steep driveway. Maneuvering a larger car is extremely difficult and, in some cases, practically impossible. The house itself has a certain charm, but it is very dark inside. In addition, the amenities did not match the description. For example, a coffee machine was listed among the facilities, but there was none on site. I was also disappointed by the very limited bathroom amenities basic toiletries were missing. There were no wardrobes in the rooms either, which significantly reduced the comfort of the stay. The biggest problem, however, occurred on the last night of our stay. Hundreds of small flying gnats appeared in one of the rooms. They were literally everywhere on the bed, furniture, and ceiling. After reporting the issue to the owner, I was simply told that “we are in the countryside and this is normal.” For me, this is not normal, especially when paying for a comfortable vacation and expecting appropriate conditions. Unfortunately, despite this nice gesture, I evaluate the overall stay negatively and cannot recommend this place. A major disappointment.

Prachtig en gezellig huis, mooi gelegen in het groen niet ver van Verona. Heel aardige hostess. Wij komen hier nog eens terug.

The property was incredibly spacious, with lots of personality and set in beautiful grounds, with fabulous views. It was all incredibly clean and well maintained, with great facilities - the kitchen especially was a joy to use. Francesca was amazing, very friendly, and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. She even made us a pie! I would definitely recommend

The only thing that could be problematic is the location. We personally loved it, but the property is very high up and quite remote, requiring driving everywhere, although personally, I found this was part of its charm,
